Being a first time mother I dont really have an idea how is giving birth is, everybody is telling me its very painful to give birth but inside of me I cant really imagine it yet becuase its my ifrst time to give birth. I ended up having a pree-clamsia when I give birth,Preeclampsia is a condition in which high blood pressure (pregnancy-induced hypertension), proteinuria (protein in the urine), edema (swelling) and excessive weight gain occur during pregnancy. The condition usually occurs after the 20th week of pregnancy. The placenta is the spongy material in the mother's uterus that nourishes the fetus. Some experts believe that a problem with the placenta causes preeclampsia. The mother has spasms of the blood vessels, which increase her blood pressure. The blood flow to the placenta is impaired. If the blood pressure is not controlled, it can damage the placenta and cause death of the baby. Preeclampsia develops in 5% of pregnant women. It usually occurs after the 20th week of pregnancy. It may be mild or severe. The high blood pressure can affect the brain, kidneys, liver, and lungs. If the woman develops seizures or coma, the condition is known as eclampsia, very difficult for me becuase I labor very long hours and finally my son was born 8.5 pounds but i have to get one bag of blood to the other person becuase the doctor said I am out of blood what a nice experience. But the feeling of happiness no one can measure when I see finally my son which I carry for nine months. What a nice and fullfiling experience when a woman give birth.
